I am sure all of your are doing very well and are almost soaked up in the festive season as much as I am, which clearly means there is so much to do with so much running around while keeping up with your work and all the on going and upcoming festivities 🙂
So, in between all this I got a wonderfull invititation from HAIRBITAT to try out their Bee Choo Origin Hair Treatment which is an all exclusive chemical free herbal hair treatment.
I had heard so much about the treatment from my fellow blogger friends that i was so excited to try it out and went there last week. Now all I can say that it was an ammmazing experience both for me and my hair 😀 How??
Please read ahead to know more about it!!
What is Bee choo?? History and Origin:
The idea of a 100% chemical, preservative and additives free herbal paste that can promote hair growth was conceptualized after Bee Choo, the founder of the Bee Choo Origin Group, met a Hong Kong physician who told her about Chinese herbs that can aid in solving hair loss problems. With the Hong Kong physician’s encouragement and guidance, Bee Choo started experimenting on various herbal concoctions until she came up with what is known today as the Bee Choo Origin Herbal Paste.Bee Choo Origin’s mission is to provide safe and natural hair care treatment services and hair care products to people.
They believe that genuine hair care must be safe. Ingredients used in products should never cause harmful side effects to people which may cause long-term damage if not done professionally.
The Bee choo hair treatment treatment is available in around twelve Asian countries including India. where it can be found in Bangalore and Coimbatore in their certified Hairbitat centres. In Bangalore they have three outlets, in HSR Layout, Jayanagar and Vittal Mallya Road respectively.
I visited their HSR Layout Branch which is also the oldest amongst all and just now completed two successfull years of its launch.
The Hair Treatment Process:
The whole process takes approximately 2 hours of hair spa which includes 7 different steps of hair and scalp testing and treat ment depending on the hair type, texture and problem areas.
The first step started with a quick examination of my hair & scalp from one of their hair expert and very courteous staff Ana, where I was told that I have an oily scalp and dry-frizzy hair with a bit of visible dandruff and the treatment will be provided accordingly.
The treatment started with the application of hair tonic to the scalp which I saw told that stimulates and open up pores for further treatment (steaming). Opening up of the scalp pores is important in removing impurities and for the absorption of the herbal ingredient into the scalp.
I was also served a cup of warm Chrysanthemum tea right after this.
Thereafter, pure virgin olive oil was applied onto my mid length hair and dry hair ends to ease out split ends and improve hair condition, which results in more manageable hair for the treatment.
After that, the signature Bee Choo Herbal Paste, which is a mixture of 21 chinese herbs was applied directly onto my scalp, hair and to the hair ends. The paste felt really cooling as soon as it was applied onto the scalp and I wonder if it has mint as one of the herb in it. The paste also smells and looks like henna paste which would definitely be one of the main ingredient of the paste as well. Once done, all my hair were wrapped and tucked up in a plastic sheet very neatly and gently.
The hair, then is put for steaming for good 45 minutes, where first 40 mins of steaming is done at a fix temperature and the next 10 at a lower temperature to cool it down for the further washing of the hair. These 40 mins of steaming were quite relaxing and no wonder I had 3 cups of tea in between the whole process 🙂
I then went for washing my hair off to their wash area which has the most comfortable lie-down chairs i have seen or have used so far in any salon or spa in India. The washing process was the most relaxed process for me in the entire treatment and it took good 20 minutes considering the long length of my hair and the uber patience and time put through my hair expert/therapist Ana 🙂
So after two washes of shampoo and a good massage of conditioner, both having menthol I was finally good to go for the final step of the hair spa.
The last step involved two of their post wash hair care products on my fresh washed hair, an origin hair tonic on the oily scalp and an origin Crystal concentrate serum on the mid hair and hair ends. A simple blow dry afterwards and I was all set to flaunt my rejuvenated, soft silky hair 😀
My experience with the HAIRBITAT Hair Spa:
- My hair feel light as a feather with so much shine and volume to them. All my greys are now covered with a gorgeous henna tint and my oily scalp looks and feels so much clearer and fresh than before.
- I also felt that the scalp itchiness has been reduced to quite an extent which was there before because of an on and off bout of dandruff.
- The over all effect of the herbal hair spa on my hair has been amazing. I love the look and the texture of my hair with so much volume and shine.
- I was told that after 4-5 sittings, I would not be seeing any more grey hair and my hair will be all strengthend, healthier and shinier.
I highly highly recommend the HAIRBITAT hair spa service to everyone!! 😀
