The creamy consistency helps it gliding smoothly on to the hair.
Review: Before I jump into the review, let me take a few minutes to put some light on “Tea tree oil and how it is beneficial for the hair”. So Let’s hear it:
1) Tea tree oil is one of the most researched essential oils, which is found in and sround its native land, Australia.
2) This oil contains anti-fungal and anti-bacterial elements that help fight conditions that cause dandruff.
3) This oil is also effective in protecting your scalp from infections and irritants.
4) The oil can be used to reduce and prevent hair loss.
5) It also helps in getting rid of dead skin which promotes hair growth.
Its a thick leave in conditioner/cream for all type of hair and is unisex. But the best part it, though it is enriched with tea tree and lemon oil, its not extremely oily and just a pea sized amount is enough for application. I have oily scalp and dry frizzy ends which highly require conditioner post washing. Because of my oily roots I skip my scalp and only apply conditioner on to the ends and mid section of my hair.
So with this nourishing cream, I still do my conditioner and then use a pea size amount of this cream to gently massage my scalp and hair when they (hair) are still damp.
The nourishing cream claims to reduce dandruff, reduce scalp itching and making hair smooth and shinier. And i definitely see reduction in my dandruff to some extent after a continuous use of this cream. I also have itchy and flaky scalp which too shows some improvement post massaging with this hair cream. My hair feels smoother and softer after applying the hair cream and I love the fact that its very light and does not leave any residue behind which makes it an effective leave in hair cream.
* I do not see any extra shine on my hair once I apply the cream but my hair definitely feel smooth, manageable and nourished after using the cream.
* People with oily hair might find it a bit more oily so I would not suggest it to them but if your hair is like mine (dry~frizzy) , You will most certainly like it 🙂
I would definitely recommend it to people who have mild dandruff and itchy scalp or roots. It suits best when you have dry hair as the oil can make the hair more oily but still go for it if you want the goodness of tea tree oil and lemon on to your scalp and hair. Its also quite affordable as compared to the other Tea tree oil based products and as per the quantity, its going to last a long time 😀
The all natural and medicinal ingredients makes it a worth buy for me 🙂
